When Megan bought her cozy craftsman bungalow in the heart of Waldo in 2015, she had a very blank slate to work with. The unfurnished 2 bedroom home had been vacant for quite some time, but it had great bones. Crown molding, a charming exterior, close proximity to shops and restaurants, and great period details (including glass-paneled French doors and a claw foot tub!) made her decision that much easier.

Megan turned this bedroom into a sitting room/ office full of plants, quirky furniture and accessories, and bright pops of color. The velvet rocking chair is the perfect place to curl up with a good book.

A nook on the counter top is the perfect spot for a makeshift bar and for her plants to get some sunlight.

The claw foot tub pairs perfectly with her Arts-and-Crafts inspired shower curtain.

Megan’s bike hangs out of the way by the front door, making room for more plants and a very cool storage cabinet. Notice the original hardwood floors and the chair rail and crown molding.

She has really turned this house into a home and filled it with her personality (and plants. And awesome midcentury furniture.)

Thank you, Megan, for letting me photograph your lovely home. ♥
